Wij zijn Angelique Borghuis en Eline de Koning, oprichters van de non-profitorganisatie Boezemvriendinnen.
Boezemvriendinnen verzamelen BH’s die niet gedragen of verkocht worden en zorgen er voor dat vrouwen met een smalle beurs deze BH’s gratis aangemeten krijgen.
We kennen allebei vrouwen met weinig geld en vroegen ons af, hoe zij aan een goede BH kunnen komen. Via de Buurvrouw & BuurvrouwBus kwamen we met elkaar in contact. de Buurvrouw & BuurvrouwBus is een organisatie die als doel heeft om de waarde te herontdekken van ‘een buurvrouw zijn’ voor elkaar.

Wij gingen BH’s inzamelen en pas-events organiseren, waar vrouwen met een smalle beurs gratis BH’s van goede kwaliteit kunnen uitzoeken. We hebben lingerie-professionals (cupmaatjes) gevraagd om te helpen bij het passen.
Ons doel is om in de toekomst deze actie ook in plaatsen buiten Friesland te helpen opzetten. We krijgen steeds meer BH’s, maar ook hulp, van lingeriewinkels die BH’s voor ons inzamelen of doneren.
En de vrouwen die van ons een BH hebben gekregen, helpen ons daarna weer bij het sorteren en organiseren. Zo kunnen we doorgroeien en steeds meer vrouwen helpen, want het is hard nodig!
